Our story
Lusail Sports Club is the newest jewel added — in 2014 — to the crown of Qatari sport in Lusail: a sports club with facilities built to international standards, dedicated to serving the Lusail area.
The club is based at the Al Egla training site in Lusail, close to the iconic Lusail Stadium that hosted the FIFA World Cup final. Over the past few years, Al Egla has grown into a magnet for sports lovers, hosting weekly activities all year round for boys and girls from Lusail and the surrounding areas.
The club runs a wide range of youth programmes, in line with its vision for the decade ahead and the regional and international sporting events to come. The club's committee will focus on these programmes and play its part in developing the next generation of Qatari and resident talent — one of the main sources of future players for the national team.
